Founded in 1993 as a family company, Göknur changed its business structure in 1997. In 1998, it entered into the food industry with a fruit and vegetable concentrate production facility in Niğde. Despite the fact that it still boasts a small production capacity under the current conditions, our company prioritized ‘‘making a difference’’ and ‘‘innovation’’ rather than competing in the food industry. We managed to become a center of attention by attracting the attention of our customers through new investments and improvements.

In 1999, the company started producing organic fruits and organic fruits concentrate with its contracted agriculture practice. In 2000, the company started selling organic products. The Mersin Free Trade Zone investment in 2003 improved the quality of trade and services and reinforced the spirit of innovation by introducing a new product to our product portfolio. In 2004, the company began producing ‘‘pomegranate concentrate’’ for the first time in Turkey and then exported it.

In 2005, our retail-produced fruit juices branded ‘‘Drops’’ were sold in glass bottles and ‘‘Tetra Brik’’ packages to reach direct consumers.

The company launched the ‘‘Organic and Industrial Fruit Cultivation’’ project in 2007. Rather than implementing contracted farming, the company purchased its own land and set up new fruit gardens. Our projects set an example for our farmers and encouraged them to cultivate both organic and industrial agriculture. Göknur, the first company in Turkey to invest in industrial fruit production, has grown to 20,000 decares of industrial fruit garden according to current records. Fruit gardens, which are at least five times higher than those of us, were built by other companies and farmers who took our project as their examples.


Instead of manufacturing standard products, the company listened to its customers carefully and identified their needs, thus beginning to produce products that appeal to customer needs. Thus, both the product market became established itself and our industrialists in the same line were not competitive.

Furthermore, as a sales and marketing team, our company fulfills the duties of providing attentive service to our customers. Instead of marketing from Turkey, we have managed to make it a priority by becoming the most preferred company by reaping the fruits of all these services and by storing our products in close proximity to customers.

In 2012, Turkey strengthened its corporate structure by signing a partnership agreement with ‘‘Venture Capital Bank,’’ known as Gulf Capital. In 2013, our Adana-Kozan Production Facility opened in 2014 for our Afyon-Dinar Production Facility, one of the world’s leading condensed production facilities.

The company boasts a capacity to process 2,000 tons of fruit and vegetables daily at the Niğde plant, 1,200 tons per day at the Adana-Kozan plant, and 4,000 tons per day at the Afyon-Dinar plant, bringing the total production capacity to 7,200 tons per day, the largest production capacity in the Turkish fruit juice industry.

In our sales; the amount of exported products constitutes 70-80 percent of the total amount of products, and is the largest exporter of our country with this data.

It now serves over 500 customers in approximately 85 countries, mostly from the US, Europe, and the Far East. It is a globally recognized leader in the organic market in terms of quantity and diversity. Our goal is to reach every point of the world.

We operate with the slogan ‘‘from the branch to the glass’’ and place importance on organic fruit and vegetable production, which is our top priority. Necessary measures are taken to prevent all kinds of food safety hazards during the production, harvesting, transportation to the factory, processing and transportation of the fruits and vegetables that we grow personally or grows in cooperation with the farmers.  Our plants comply with the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System Standard and the BRC Food Standard.

Our most significant values include ‘‘customer focus’’ and ‘‘innovation.’’ Göknur Gıda is a big family with its employees.
